Meet the ODOKO Team

Ged Petrie


Ged is a specialist in strategic development. As CEO, he adds his unique perspective in creating new opportunities within the open source world and for new products. He works closely with Upayavira (CTO) to meet the needs and tailor solutions for our clients.

Prior to joining Odoko Ged has held a variety of senior roles. Most recently as senior consultant for Serco. He has supported development of strategic solutions across a variety of blue chip companies.



Upayavira has over 25 years experience within the IT world and is passionate about finding ways in which technology can make a difference to peoples lives. He’s been a member of the Apache Software Foundation since 2005 and is currently its VP for fundraising.

As CTO, Upayavira wears many different hats: product ideas, product design, product management, dev team lead, user experience, development. As well as designing and executing the product vision, his job is also to create opportunities and develop our partnerships.

Jonny Baker

Operations Manager

In a nutshell Jonny manages the day to day operations at Odoko. His role also involves embedding a culture of continuous improvement into the organisation, and he possesses particular strengths in working with our staff to embrace change.

Previously Jonny has run several small UK charities, He’s worked for many years as a Fundraiser and Trainer for charities including Childline, and The Karuna Trust. He’s also taught meditation in the UK and internationally.
